As most of our students do a lot of travelling with their families
and friends, the school does not offer any regular trips or excursions.
However, as part of school projects excursions in Geography, visits to
exhibitions in Biology or Art, cultural breaks for language practice do
take place.
Class exchanges so far have been possible owing to the initiative of
individual students or teachers, including projects with Poland, the
Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Rumania, Denmark, Finland, Sweden,
the Ukraine, to name but a few.
Sport
There are various sports teams at our school: (beach) volleyball,
basketball and dance. The teams meet regularly to take part in regional
student championships.
Cultural activities
The “Kanti-Forum” (http://www.kanti-forum.ch), a school-based
organiser of cultural events operating under private law, has over 800
members and is still growing. Performances include the staging of
theatre plays, concerts (classical, pop, jazz), dance happenings and
cabaret. Students have free admission to all events for a modest annual
fee.
